As a physician and researcher, I have a particular interest in the detection of toxic substances. My work primarily involves conducting clinical trials in humans. I hold a medical degree and have broad previous experience in areas including oncology, metabolic diseases, emergency medicine, and pharmacology.
I am a certified simulation instructor and teach the stabilization of critically ill patients. I also teach forensic toxicology.
After validation, the research conducted by my colleagues and me is now applied in practice by law enforcement to detect nitrous oxide (laughing gas) in drivers in traffic.
My primary area of responsibility is forensic toxicology, with a focus on human clinical trials, primarily involving nitrous oxide detection using. I also contribute to research on opioids.
