My research and clinical expertise is the treatment of malignant tumors in the musculoskeletal system, with a focus on reconstructive surgery. My research centers on limb-sparing and personalized surgery, where clinically relevant research is directly translated into practice. My work contributes to the development of tailored treatments that improve survival and quality of life for sarcoma patients.
I graduated as a medical doctor in 1999 and have since gained extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, focusing on orthopedic oncology since 2002. My specialization has developed through roles as consultant, senior consultant with managerial duties, and since 2021 as Clinical Professor in Tumor Surgery at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Aarhus University Hospital/Aarhus University.
